Where are the items shipped from?
RarezHut is based in Illinois, USA, though we will gladly ship worldwide! We do have our RarezHub service for overseas customers to make shipping cheaper as well.
How/when is shipping calculated?
You can get a shipping quote from the "shopping cart" page. Shipping costs are pulled from the USPS website given your address/country and the shipping weight.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently we only accept paypal, as it is the easiest and most secure method.
Is there any way to put items on hold and pay for them later?
There are currently no plans to offer such a service, so all items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is it possible to hold items after buying to be shipped together with a future purchase?
Sure thing! There's a shipping option called "Hold for bulk shipping" made just for this purpose. If you use this option, just contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org when you want to ship everything and we can coordinate with you to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Items held for 12 months will be considered abandoned and put back up for sale unless the customer contacts us beforehand. Please be sure to add email@example.com to your email contacts to ensure messages do not get sent to spam. An effort will be made on the part of RarezHut to contact the customer before any orders are marked as abandoned.
What are the conditions of your items?
A large majority of our stock is purchased used, but is generally in really good condition. Many CDs come with the OBI strip and, in some instances, the cases are replaced if they were badly damaged during shipping. All used items are tested and confirmed as working before being listed. I would like to buy a cassette/VHS, but I have no way to play it... what can I do?
Analog media such as cassettes and VHS are a fading medium, and we understand that most people don't own the equipment to play these items. To help ease this, we can send digital copies of VHS and cassettes along with the items which were digitized using professional-quality hardware.
I was viewing/listening to a sample, is this the quality I can expect?
No, for sampling purposes, both audio and video quality are compressed to a lower quality bitrate.
Do you accept exchanges/refunds?
All sales are final and items are sold as-is. We will work with you to the best of our ability should any issues arise.
How often do you add new products?
Our Store inventory currently contais thousands of items, and more are being added every week. CDs/DVDs will most likely be added quicker than VHS/cassettes, as we take great time and effort to digitize analog media to ensure the best quality possible.
Are these products legitimate?
We pride ourselves on our quality and integrity, and make sure that all of our products are genuine and not bootlegged.
